XK Restoration

Jaguar XKs are difficult cars to restore properly. There is normally substantial corrosion and as bodywork was hand finished at the factory there are considerable variations from car to car. Skilled panel work and plenty of XK experience are required to achieve the correct line and panel fit. Over the years we have learnt that partial restorations are seldom satisfactory.

There is no substitute for a complete "nut and bolt" restoration. We completely disassemble the car and build it up again from a shotblasted epoxy coated chassis rebuilding the body from a shotblasted original using new panels where necessary. We can include extras and specification improvements if required or we can restore to totally original specification.


XK Maintenance

Our workshops undertake service and maintenance work on all XK models. Anything from a minor service to major mechanical overhauls. We have also developed a range of upgrades to improve XKs for everyday driving. These include modern braking systems, alternator conversions, upgraded fuel pump, improved cooling etc.

We can also fit unleaded cylinder heads, 5 speed gearboxes, power steering, modern alarms and audio systems etc.

Or just a routine service.

 
Some cars require more body restoration than others but one can normally expect plenty of corrosion in areas which can not be seen easily.
